Manish Krishnanand Pandey (Hindi: मनिष कृष्णानंद पांडे Kannada: ಮನೀಶ್ ಪಾಂಡೆ) (born September 10, 1989 in Nainital, Uttarakhand) is an Indian cricketer. He is primarily a right-handed middle order batsman, although he opened the innings for his club team, the Royal Challengers Bangalore. After 2 years of playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, he has opted to play for Pune Warriors India in IPL 2011. He represents Karnataka in first class cricket.[1]

Career

Early career

Pandey began his cricket career when he was in the third standard. He was a member of the victorious Indian team that played in the 2008 Under-19 World Cup held in Malaysia. He was selected for the Mumbai Indians' squad in the 2008 season of the Indian Premier League.
